We know you have some questions about your favourite products, so we’ve teamed up with our experts to get you some answers!

Q: Why and how should I use loose powder?
A: Loose powders are formulated to create a satin-smooth finish on top of your foundation and can be used to make it last longer. In addition, it keeps pores and uneven surface texture concealed while maintaining the skin's natural moisture.

For best results, use a medium to large sized powder brush to pick up the powder, then tap the brush lightly to remove excess. Apply a light dusting to your T-zone, and then brush away any visible deposits of excess powder. Voila! Flawless skin in a few seconds.

Q: My nail polish won’t open; do I need to buy a new polish every time that happens?
A: Put the bottle upside down in hot water and leave it for a minute. Take it out and the lid should be easier to open!

Q: Some day and night creams come with a thin plastic cover or foil under the lid. Should I keep it or toss it?
A: Keep it. Exposure to light and air can break down many active ingredients, including vitamin C and retinol, and as a consequence the products won’t work as well.

Q: Other than my lips, where else can I use my Tender Care?
A: While Tender Care Protecting Balm is great for use on chapped lips, it can be used for just about everything else – you can even layer some over your eye shadow for a glossy effect! You can use it to moisturise dry spots, repair cracked heels, or even massage it into your cuticles to keep your nails healthy.

Q: How do I apply eye cream properly?
A: Apply it to the area around your eye, but never to your lid or too close to your lower lash line as this will cause irritation. Instead, roll or dab your eye cream onto your orbital socket, the bone that surrounds your eye; if you’re unsure where it is try tracing the circular shape with your finger.

Q: How do I use Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls?
A: Bronzing pearls are a blend of shimmering micro pearls designed to give your skin a natural, sun-kissed glow. Use a fan brush to contour, or a medium-sized powder brush if you just want to create a bronzed glow. Simply swirl the brush over the pearls so that it picks up the different pigments, and then brush the bronzer under your cheekbones and across your temples.

Q: Why should I use hair oil and how do I apply it properly?
A: Hair oils have been used for centuries as a way of maintaining shiny, luxurious locks. Oils contain large amounts of beneficial nutrients including vitamin E and fatty acids that tame frizz and promote shine and gloss. The most common way to use a hair oil is as a leave-in conditioner.

How to apply: Rub a few drops onto the palms of your hands and then comb your fingers through damp or towel-dried hair.

Q: What’s the difference between a regular hair oil and hot oils? How do I use hot oils?
A: Hot Oil treatments are different from hair oils in both formula and usage. Regular hair oil is used on damp hair while hot oil is a deep conditioning treatment used on wet hair. Hair oils, conditioners and hair masks are limited to treating the hair cuticle, while a hot oil treatment will help you maintain health and shine by penetrating the hair shaft to repair dry or damaged hair from the inside out.

Using hot oils is simple: Put the tube in warm water for one minute and then open it and massage it into wet hair. Let it sit for one minute and rinse with water. For best results you should use them once a week. The hot oil hair treatment is for ALL hair types, but if you have very dry hair you’ll see amazing results.

Q: Why should I use hair serum it and how do I apply it properly?
A: A hair serum is a silicone-based product that coats the surface of your hair. One of the main uses of hair serum is that it makes the hair shinier and healthier.

How to apply it: Pour a few drops of the serum onto the palms of your hands then, using yoru fingers, run along your hair. Apply the serum when your hair is damp or towel dried (not dripping wet). Never use it on your scalp.
